A Letter From Our Founder

Why Empire exists, where it came from, and the standards it was built on — in Minitor's own words.

Empire RP started as a bet I made with myself.

Back in 2021, FiveM roleplay was crowded with servers chasing numbers instead of quality — communities that prioritized player counts over player experience, that shipped half-finished frameworks and called it content. I didn't think that was good enough. So instead of joining another server and complaining about what was missing, I built the one I wished existed.

The early days were unglamorous. Late nights rebuilding QBCore configs from scratch, debugging server.cfg load orders at 2 AM, teaching myself Lua scripting one error log at a time. There was no shortcut. I learned ox_inventory, faction systems, and infrastructure management the same way every serious developer does — by breaking things until I understood exactly why they broke, then making sure they never broke that way again.

The turning point was deciding Empire wasn't going to be a hobby project that drifted whichever way the player base pushed it. It was going to be run like a business — with standards, accountability, and a clear identity. That's when SASP became more than a faction; it became the backbone of a New York City-inspired law enforcement experience built with the same attention to detail you'd expect from a real department, not a reskinned default script.

Today, Empire RP runs on infrastructure I personally audit, scripts I personally maintain, and a staff structure held to a disciplinary standard I wrote myself. The technology has gotten more sophisticated. The expectations haven't changed.

What I've Promised Since Day One

  • Infrastructure that doesn't cut corners — hardware, configuration, and uptime built to support real, sustained roleplay, not a server that buckles under its own player count.
  • Systems built by someone who actually understands them. Every resource integrated into Empire has been audited, configured, and in most cases personally rewritten to fit our framework.
  • A staff standard with teeth. Accountability isn't optional here, and it never will be.
  • A community that feels intentional. Every detail, from SASP's structure to the server's tone, exists because it was designed that way — not because it was the default.

Empire RP was built by someone who got tired of low-effort servers and decided to set a higher bar. To everyone who's been here since the early days — thank you for trusting that bar before there was much to point to. We're just getting started.
